2nd MYOCURE progress meeting in Paris
Expecting mild temperatures and spring blossom, the MYOCURE consortium headed to its 2nd progress meeting in Paris. But since winter decided to have a short comeback, the French capital presented itself under a snowy cover.
However, this did not spoil the mood and the two day meeting hosted by project partners Généthon and the Sorbonne Université was used to catch up on the work progress achieved in the different working groups and to discuss the upcoming timeline. The group was joined by scientific advisory board member Oliver Müller from the University Hospital Schleswig Holstein in Germany who entered into the discussions and gave recommendations based on his scientific expertise and experience in previous research projects.
Almost completing the tour of the European countries involved in MYOCURE, the University Hospital in Heidelberg offered to host the next annual meeting in spring 2019. To ensure the continuous dialogue within the consortium in the meantime, a virtual meeting and work group sessions during the upcoming conferences of the American and European Society for Gene and Cell Therapy were scheduled.
