World Orphan Drug Congress 2016

November 15, 2016 – November 17, 2016, Brussels, Belgium

The 7th edition of the World Orphan Drug Congress will be held in Brussels from November 15 to 17, 2016. The event addresses strategic and commercial aspects of the orphan drug and rare disease sector by bringing together a variety of representatives from industry, patient groups, academia, health care, regulators, payers and investors. This year’s focus will be explicitly on the patient advocacy community.

In the framework of presentations, roundtables and poster sessions, the participants will have the chance to discuss challenges and innovations in the area of clinical development, gene therapy, patient access and advocacy, rare cancers, pricing and reimbursement as well as corporate development. The Congress is a key meeting in this sector with an interdisciplinary and international audience offering great networking opportunities and prestigious speakers.
